But who is counting, right? After this long, extremely snowy winter, these warm days have made me anxious for spring to come and STAY!
Here is what is going on next week:
We have continued to talk about poetry this week! We have been learning all types of poems and have been writing and publishing. Next week, we will wrap up our poetry unit and talk about writing friendly letters and then work on writing persuasive/opinion speeches once again as the end of the quarter nears.
This week we have been talking about comparing fractions on a number line. There is a fun little quiz type activity linked to my webpage under "Student Links" if your child wants some extra work with this skill at home! Next week, we will continue to talk about fractions, adding fractions, and equivalent fractions.
This will be our last week of economics and our "Token Economy". Our school store will be this coming Friday. (The 28th) We will talk about public goods and services and supply and demand this week.
Have a great weekend!
