Hello all! Sorry for the absence of a post last week. I somehow let it get away from me!
It's hard to believe that we start November next week. October has been such a fun month. We have had our field trip, fall party, skate party, and now we are gearing up for more! Monday, we start Stuff the Bus. Donated food items will be collected to help stock the Willard Food Pantry. Bring in non perishable items to help support those who need it in our local community. In our classroom, we will start looking at another social studies unit and will take a peek into government for the month of November. We will also wrap up a short unit on measurment and start a new unit and look at estimating and adding and subtracting with thousands. Next Friday, we will have our October Tiger Pride Assembly at 2:30. Feel free to join us and come celebrate being a Willard Tiger! I think that is all for now! Reminder: There is NO SCHOOL TOMORROW! Enjoy your three day weekend!

Parent/Teacher Conferences are at the end of October (25th and 27th). If you DO NOT have a conference time, please call or email me with a few times that would work best. Community Research sheets went home today for the community pop-up book project. YOUR STUDENT DOES NOT HAVE TO WRITE THE REPORT AT HOME OR MAKE THE POP-UP BOOK AT HOME...just the research. The questions are outlined for them to ask the business from the Willard community. The research sheet is due by October 17 (Next Monday). I think that is all for now! Remember that this Friday is a half day for students. The day will end at 12:30. As always, please let me know if you have any questions, concerns, or co |
