Once again, we have a busy week! Here is what is going on in our class!
Writing: Students are starting a new informational piece and are becoming experts on a famous scientist or inventor. Ask your child who they are researching and why that person is famous! Reading: This week, we are wrapping up making predictions and will be moving onto theme/ main idea! Math: We did a quick check of our rounding skills today and are revisiting adding and subtracting within 1,000. We will be working with adding this week! Science: We are starting a new unit on measurement and using measurement to collect data. **Tomorrow is Veteran's Day, however, we will NOT be having a Veteran's Day Assembly or breakfast this year. ** Upcoming Dates: *Tuesday, Nov. 17th is Willard East Family Night at Skyzone! We can jump from 5-8pm. The cost is $9 per hour. You choose how long you jump! You can do just 1 hour or all 3! It's up to you! *No School November 25-29th! Happy Thanksgiving!
