You should be so proud of your students! They have done a wonderful job at taking the Big Bad MAP this week! They have been cheered on by the entire school, visited by the Great Miller-ini, and relieved test anxiety on test mornings by busting a move in the gym.
Next week, we will tackle the math portion. You can review by doing practice with telling time on an analog clock, subtraction and addition practice, multiplication facts, and problems involving money. Still try to practice the healthy habits that have been mentioned over and over.
I am asking for one person to donate a case of water for the students to have for Wednesday and Thursday. I brought a case this week, but we will need a case for next week. We have 20 students and can/will use the bottles for both days. Please email or call if you are interested so we don't accidentally get more than needed!
Be sure to return any Lifetouch pictures or picture money. THESE ARE NOT FREE. But, you may purchase what you wish to keep and send the rest back with your child to school.
Last week, a letter was sent home from our homeroom mom to sign up to volunteer for the carnival. If you could, please fill those out and send them back to school as well.
I think that is all for now. Like this week, there will be NO NEW SPELLING WORDS for this week. We are on break for the weeks we test! Have a great weekend!
