Well, your student is now 1/2 way done with their MAP test! For the most part, they did awesome! And many of them commented everyday, "That really wasn't hard at all!"
Remember to keep up with good testing habits as much as possible over the weekend. Our bodies do better on routine and their little minds and bodies need to be ready for next week, which will be the math portion! Tomorrow is Early Out. Students will get out of school at 12:40. We will have Tiger Pride tomorrow, but it will be at 9:00 because of the Early Dismissal. Please check into the office before coming down to the Gym for the assembly. Tomorrow is also Mrs. Whisler's last day with us. She has been such a huge help and what a natural she is. We are lucky to get to keep Mrs. Whisler at Willard East next year. To wish her farewell for now! and Good Luck, we're doing a little gift basket for her from our class. School supplies, office supplies, gift cards to "teaching stores" or any little thing she could use in the classroom would be VERY helpful! As I mentioned before, ANYTHING is helpful to a new teacher (or any teacher!) You can send your item(s) with your child and I will place it in the basket. You can also have your child make a little card or something for Mrs. Whisler's goodbye! Next week, we will be wrapping up our Famous Scientist and Inventor projects. Please send in an adult sized hanger for your child's project to hang from. We will have our living museum next Friday from 3:00-3:30. Come see and learn all about our featured scientists in the third grade hall! I think that is all for now! Have a great weekend! See you at Tiger Pride tomorrow at 9:00 and dismissal at 12:40! Don't forget: A
