We have started to really settle in this week. Routines and expectations have been established and there is beginning to be a "flow" in room 403.
First of all, tonight your child is bringing home an "Inverse Property" worksheet. He or she is NOT LYING when they tell you Mrs. Letterman said they only needed to pick one and solve the inverse operation. They *SHOULD* have 3 examples for you already completed that we all did together. They can pick one more of their choice. HERE is a link to a Power Point we used today to help us learn about inverse operations. I have had a couple of parents ask if I needed anything done after hours and I have recently developed a need. We have 26 "Writing Tool Books" that need to be tabbed (6 tabs each) and labeled. If you are interested in doing this, please email me and let me know. The weekend is best because we use them throughout the week. We have been having conversations this week about reading and HOW important it is. Be sure that your student is reading each night for enjoyment. This can be while you wait for brother or sister at their football, softball, baseball, practice, while mom or dad makes dinner, or before they go to bed for the night. We just need to read! I think that is all for tonight. Have a great three day weekend! (No school Monday!!!)
