We wrap up October with some fun things! Conferences went great, we are enjoying our "Spirit Days" to celebrate being drug free, and we end the week with a fall party!
Reading- We have been talking about schema and introduced inferring today! Be sure to have your child read every night. Practice makes perfect. AND the better they read, the better they write!
Writing- We continue to work on our informational writing unit. Students have picked an animal off of a kid based resource site called "Pebble Go" and we are starting to write our first piece together. Today we worked on our introductory paragraph and we will work the body and conclusion the rest of this week.
Math- Tomorrow we will take our unit 2 math assessment. This assessment will check to see if students are able to multiply, divide, and solve word problems and decide if they need to use multiplication or division to solve a word problem.
Our next unit will be a continuation of multiplication and division.
