We have been busy, busy, busy! October is flying by and it's hard to believe that first quarter has ended.
Math- This week in math, we have been working on two-step word problems. We focused on breaking down the problem sentence by sentence and thinking about what operation we need to use. Next week, we are going to learn how to solve two-step word problems using letters to represent unknowns. We will begin learning how to write informational pieces on Monday! Social Studies- We have been learning about government and next week we will focus on the 3 branches and their functions. Announcements: Pumpkin Gram Sales starting Monday before school outside of the Nurse's office! Parent/ Teacher Conferences- Tuesday and Thursday after school. Principal Miller will be hosting an informative session about the new grade cards in the computer lab from 4:00 pm-7:15 pm. If you are having trouble receiving, understanding, or general questions please stop by the computer lab after your conference. Time Reminders will go home on Monday.
