Well, we made it! This year has flown by SO incredibly fast. As of 12:35 tomorrow, you will all have a 4th grader.
Some very last minute updates for tomorrow (I haven't had a lot of computer time this week!):
You might laugh at my next request and I totally get that. Students LOVE to sign shirts on the last day. Love it. So much that many times they go ahead and assume that mom or dad won't care if they get their shirt signed. Only to find out, "Oh, that was actually a nice shirt" (or just a shirt my mom didn't want Sharpie all over). Students are welcome to wear their Field Day shirts or Tiger Pride Shirts and let students sign them. However, (here is the silly part), can you let me know that it's okay for your child to get their shirt signed? Just a quick email or jot it on a Post-It. I know, it's crazy, but believe me, there have been collared Polo shirts signed before ;) THANK you for sharing your children with me. There are so many jokes that teachers count down the days until break more than the kids. And while we work hard and love our breaks, we love our students more. I have grown so attached to this class and tomorrow at 12:35 will be hard to say 'See ya later' and know that they won't be in my class next year. They have all grown so much and I am SO PROUD of each and every single one of them! Thank you for all you all have done! Donations, time, support- this year wouldn't have been successful without YOU! Thank you. And one last "Thank you".- Thank you all for the sweet basket for Teacher Appreciation Week. The items in the basket weren't labeled with names so I have no way to write a personal "Thank You" to each of you, but it is SO, SO, SO appreciated. Thank you, thank you, thank you!!!! With that, have a great summer!!!! Read! Play! Relax!!! (IF you look at the previous post, there are 2 little videos from our field trip and field day. It actually slipped my mind because the kids watched them so many times in class, I kind of forgot to tell you all I made them! SUPER sorry about that! )
